Generating Educational Animations with Manim

LLMs have been trained on open source code, including Manim - a mathematical animation engine created by 3Blue1Brown. Give an LLM a simple prompt like “create a Manim animation showing the Pythagorean theorem” and you’ll get a working animation.

Is there value in automating entire learning paths? Imagine feeding in a concept and getting back a structured series of visual explanations. It would also be interesting to switch to Motion Canvas that also brings a web-based UI for editing and previewing animations.
