I _Loveable_ vibe coding - a straightforward tech stack gets you far

I’ve been playing with Loveable today. Its impressive how the barier to entry for proof of concepts and even small MVPs is so low. Some SaaS tools might have a not-so-bright feature now that everyone can generate a simple todo-list just for themselves.

Here are some of the ones I’ve played around with:

• https://gcd.si/boxes/ - Daily habit tracker with a cute box-filling mechanic and an ominous “memento mori” tab to remind you that time is limited
• https://gcd.si/nuggets/ - Spaced repetition flashcards with localstorage
• https://music.gcd.si - Uses a LLM to generate MIDI files in a few styles
• https://roguelike.gcd.si - Not roguelike at all, but you can generate 2d dungeons and walk around in them
• https://multiplayer.gcd.si - a multiplayer game matching service

What impressed me is how fully vertically integrated it is: Supabase and even Cloudflare - moving to your own domain was literally one Oauth click away.

My own little spin was exporting the generated code to my own GitHub and enabling GitHub Pages. A simple prompt to change the vite config to generate static files and boom, it goes well with my blog setup. Switching to Cursor or Copilot after also seems cheaper and works well.

Next up I plan on connecting some of the self-contained apps between each other. Multiplayer plus Space rocks? Nuggets and Boxes?
